DUMAS, TX – A trio of Dumas Demons football standouts have signed national letters of intent to further their education and continue their football journey at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
Cornerback Hunter Coaly and receivers Victor Chavez and Josh Flores will suit up for the Aggies this fall. Oklahoma Panhandle finished 4-7 overall and 3-6 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
The speedy Coaly was named 1st Team All-District and was a member of the Padilla Poll Class 4A 1st Team All-State defensive back.
Flores was selected 2nd Team All-District and Chavez, who was having a standout season before going down with an injury, caught six balls for 117 yards and a touchdown in a 48-14 victory over Plainview.
Oklahoma Panhandle State is a public university that was founded in 1909 and is located in Goodwell, Oklahoma.
