Sunray ISD recently had 5 high school students audition for and earn seats in the all-region band. They auditioned against students from class 1A through 4A schools in the Texas Panhandle.
Tory Trahern earned 1st chair in the Honors Band on the baritone saxophone and advanced on to Area. She will audition for the All-State Band in January.
Andrew Packebush earned 2nd chair in the Symphonic Band on the contrabass clarinet.
Alessandro Zamarripa earned 6th chair in the Symphonic Band on the French Horn.
Gus Shirley earned 8th chair in the Concert Band on the trombone.
Caleb Seale earned 1st alternate on percussion.
