SAN ANTONIO, TX – In January Tory Trahern a Sunray Collegiate ISD (SCISD) band student placed 1st at the area round competition which qualified her for the all-state band. At that time Tory was one of the top 5 baritone saxophone players for 1A-4A schools in the state.
This week Tory traveled to San Antonio to compete at the Texas All-State competition. On Wednesday SCISD announced that Tory Trahern had earned 2nd place Baritone Saxophone at the state competition for 1A-4A schools.
She will perform with the Texas All-State ATSSB Bands in San Antonio at the Henry B. González Convention Center on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
