Santa joined first responders, local businesses, churches, and civic organizations on Saturday to make Christmas special for children in the Moore County Area.
The annual ‘Shop with a Cop’ event focuses on underprivileged children and families within the local community. Police officers spend time with the children and shop with them at Walmart.
During the event, the children are given a gift certificate to purchase the items they want. The police officers act as chaperones to the children throughout the event as they shop for items.
