DUMAS, TX – A Moore County jury has sentenced a Moore County man to 10 years in prison for possession of a controlled substance.

Jonathan Ramirez Saenz was sentenced on December 13, 2021, to 10 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance in an amount more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams, that substance being methamphetamine.

After Saenz’s conviction for Possession of Controlled Substance, Saenz pleaded guilty to two charges of Sexual Assault of an adult. He was sentenced to two additional ten-year sentences.

Saenz will be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life. Because of his plea of guilt, neither victim was required to testify at trial.

The 69th Judicial District Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case. The office serves Moore, Hartley, Dallam, and Sherman counties.
