A 13-year-old girl from Lubbock who went missing Friday was found in Dumas, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
On Monday, the CSPD posted on their Facebook that Adalie Rivera went missing in the early morning hours while on vacation with her family in Colorado Springs. They were staying at a motel at an airport hotel, and the post says Rivera left with no money and took her suitcase with her. She went missing in the Pikes Peak area, and the CSPD says she didn’t know anyone there.
On Tuesday, the CSPD reported on their Facebook that Rivera had been found safe in Dumas. The three-sentence post says the girl is safe, and the investigation continues. It doesn’t say where she was found in Dumas or who found her, but a Moore County official told the Journal a land owner found Rivera outside of Dumas.
