Moore County Crime Stoppers honors local law enforcement officers each month by selecting an officer of the month. Each month, the Board of Crime Stoppers randomly selects a local Law Enforcement Officer from one of 5 local agencies in Moore County to be the Officer of the Month.
Officer of the month for May 2021 is Chief of Police Keith Quirk with Dumas ISD Police Department. Chief Quirk has been in law enforcement for 6 years and graduated from the Amarillo Police Department Academy.
Keith enjoys traveling, camping, fishing, kayaking and coaching sports. He grew up in Sunray and met his wife of 13 years, Taylor, in Amarillo. They have two children Couper and Charlee.
The Moore County Crime Stoppers Board asks if you see Chief Quirk out in the community, that you stop and shake his hand to let him know that Moore County appreciates the job he does for our community.
