The Savages took 1st place out of 27 teams at the tournament and are now ranked number one in the State of Texas with an overall record of 50-14-1.

At the beginning of the week, the team received heartbreaking news about one of the girls on the team that was placed in the hospital with health issues. Coach Ruben Medrano told the Moore County Journal “These girls played hard all weekend and before each game, they would dedicate the games to her saying ‘playing for you 42.'”
