Homebuilt Airplane RV Stops in Dumas

Dumas has had some interesting travelers stop here over the years, even some famous people traveling through our busy little town. Seems the Coronavirus has brought some interesting road-trippers through the area.

Saturday night, Tommy Gabehart posted some great pictures of an interesting homebuilt RV on Facebook. A few others posted on social media about seeing it also.

I did a little digging on the internet and didn’t find much. But I was able to learn that this particular RV was built back in the early ’80s (finished in 1981) by mounting an airplane fuselage on a truck chassis.
